The DFW metroplex adds new subdivision development faster than almost any metro in the country, and every one of those tracts starts with land that needs clearing. Collin and Denton counties in particular are seeing large agricultural tracts converted to residential subdivisions, and the clearing work on those properties requires equipment scaled to the job. We focus on larger tracts where the scope matches our equipment and experience.

Blackland prairie clay soil across much of the metro shrinks in dry summer heat and swells after rain. A cleared pad that looks stable in August can shift after the first fall rain if drainage is not addressed during site prep. We account for that soil behavior when sequencing clearing and grading work so the finished site is stable for the builder.

The White Rock Escarpment creates real elevation changes in parts of Dallas County, particularly around Oak Cliff, where clearing and grading on sloped ground requires different equipment positioning than flat prairie work. Right of way corridors that cross the escarpment face the same challenge. We match the clearing approach to the terrain rather than treating every DFW site as flat ground.
